What is a typical day like for you?
My role is to advocate on behalf of our work and provide outreach to friends, supporters, and the general public. I spend my days communicating with our friends and other folks, strategizing how to best raise money, planning fundraising events, and generally maximizing donations to achieve our goals.

Tell us about your background and what brought you to Primary Source.
I have been an advocate of global education since I was a high school exchange student in Israel. After that, I studied, traveled, and worked throughout the Middle East in college, graduate school, and my first professional positions in international consulting.  When I got my first “dream job” in international banking, I was charged with assessing country risk in 30 countries around the world, which helped me to develop an appreciation of cultures in Asia, Latin America, and Africa.  Following that, I was the marketing director for a boutique construction management business. In that role, I learned the importance of creative strategizing in marketing and communications. Working at Primary Source, I have brought these passions together, joining my love of global learning, my interest in creating effective promotion strategies, and my dedication to advancing an important cause.  I received a B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh in Anthropology, an M.A. in Near Eastern Languages from Indiana University, and an M.A.L.D. from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
I love to read, walk my dog, watch great films, and visit great museums.

Where in the world would you most like to visit?
I enjoy big cities, fabulous beaches, and remote locations. My bucket list includes Greenland, Morocco, and New Zealand.
