SUMMER COHORT (Gr.5): Implementing Investigating History: A Comprehensive Online Course

This comprehensive asynchronous online course is designed for educators implementing the Investigating History curriculum in Grades 5, 6, or 7. Participants will engage deeply with the curriculum’s structure, inquiry-based approach, and core historical content through a dynamic blend of pre-recorded lectures, scholar presentations, primary source explorations, and practical instructional strategies.
The course is facilitated, self-paced, and fully asynchronous, allowing educators to complete it on their own schedule while still benefiting from high-quality, thoughtfully curated professional learning.
Ideal for both new and experienced Investigating History teachers, the course provides practical guidance, historical insight, and classroom-ready tools to build confidence and support successful, yearlong implementation.
Participants will have full access to the course throughout the academic year, enabling them to revisit resources, scholar videos, and unit-by-unit guidance from Primary Source as they teach each Investigating History unit.
