Fact, fiction, or ‘fake news’? Join Primary Source for an afternoon with Princeton University professors Julian E. Zelizer and Kevin M. Kruse, editors of Myth America: Historians Take on the Biggest Legends and Lies about Our Past, a critical anthology bringing together leading scholars of United States history to interrogate the narratives that form American collective memory.

Editors Kruse and Zelizer will share their insights into the way stories of America’s past have molded the present, and the pressing need to examine the deeply entrenched myths that have permeated our national political life. This conversation brings together the Primary Source learning community with historians to examine questions of knowledge, narrative, memory, and identity as they contribute to political polarization and discord today. Myth America can be found through your preferred local or online bookseller.
